MOTIM is a company limited by shares, dealing with the production and sale of high-quality alumina-based products. Its legal predecessor was established in 1934 for the utilization of the Hungarian bauxite resources.

Following the successive commissions of new alumina plants with higher production capacity both in Hungary and abroad, MOTIM started a strategic extension of its  product range. Based on the high quality alumina-hydrate and calcined alumina produced in the factory, the company appeared on the market with higher- added- value products having long term demand.

At the moment, MOTIM supplies 4 groups of products to various countries in the World.

MOTIM has four Divisions:
 

	alumina-hydrate and calcined alumina grades
	white fused alumina, fused mullite and spinel grains
	fused cast refractories
	aluminium sulphate
