White Fused Aluminas

Abrasive WFA grains

Our WFA grains are produced from high purity calcined or feedstock alumina in electric arc-furnaces. The molten material undergoes cooling, crushing, grinding, sieving, classifying and, of course, various quality checking procedure before it is packed for delivery. As final products, in general terms, we distinguish between WFA-s for abrasive and for refractory applications.
EKF: We recommend our EKF for the production of bonded abrasives i.e. grinding shapes, cutting wheels and as shot blasting media.EKP: We recommend EKP for the production of abrasive paper, coated abrasive as cloth or belt.
EKF micro: We recommend our EKF micro for micro bonded abrasives applications for micro blasting material, catalyst carrier, and as polishing material.EKP micro: We recommend EKP micro for the production of micro coated abrasive applications.

Refractory WFA grains

EKR-A: We recommend EKR-A for the production of high alumina refractory products, like shaped refractories (bricks, etc), monolithics, mortars, gunning, mixes.EKR-B: We recommend EKR-B for the production of high alumina refractory products, like shaped refractories (bricks, etc), monolithics, mortars, gunning, mixes.EKR-C: We recommend our EKR-C for the production of shaped refractories (bricks, etc), monolithics.EKR-S: Dust collector fines of White Fused Alumina processing.

Fused Spinel

Our SPINEL grains are produced from high purity raw materials in electric arc-furnaces to obtain maximum amount of spinel crystals. The molten material undergoes cooling, crushing, grinding, sieving, classifying and, of course, various quality checkings before it is packed for delivery. As a final product, we distinguish between grades of FS-10, FS-27 and FS-33 in accordance with the MgO percentage these products contain.
FS-10: We recommend our FUSED SPINEL FS-10 for the production of refractory materials for: the sinter and transit zones of rotary furnaces in the cement industry, the arches of electric arc-furnaces, the refractory lining of high frequency furnaces, the refractory lining of torpedos and ladles in steel works.FS-27: We recommend our FUSED SPINEL FS-27 for the production of refractory materials for: the sinter and transit zones of rotary furnaces in the cement industry, the arches of electric arc-furnaces, the refractory lining of high frequency furnaces, the refractory lining of torpedos and ladles in steel works, the refractory lining of Aluminium refining furnaces, the crowns of glass melting furnaces.FS-33: We recommend our FUSED SPINEL FS-33 for the production of refractory materials for: the sinter and transit zones of rotary furnaces in the cement industry, as component for the refractory materials in the steel industry, refractory lining in waste burners.

White Fused Mullite

Our White Fused Mullite grains are produced from high purity raw materials in electric arc furnaces. The molten material undergoes cooling, crushing, grinding, sieving, classifying and, of course, various quality checkings before it is ready made for delivery.
We recommend our White Fused Mullite for the production of refractory materials used: at precision and continuous casting in the steel industry, at the charging holes of various furnaces, to make burner-frames, furnace furtniture for lining ladles and off takes, as high purity mullite blocks for glass melting furnaces (superstructure and crown), investment casting.

Fused Zirconia Mullite

We recommend our FUSED ZIRCONIA MULLITE for the production of refractory materials used: at precision and continuous casting in the steel industry, at the charging holes of various furnaces, as high purity zirconia mullite blocks for glass melting furnaces (superstructure and crown), production of industrial ceramics.
