H-30 and H-80 are white coloured aluminium hydroxides produced by modified Bayer- process. These grades are slightly sticky due to the presence of surface moisture.

Both of our aluminium hydrates are trihydrates and have the chemical formel  Al(OH)3 or Al2O3* 3H2O.
H-30 and H-80 are soluable in strong acids and alkalis.
Due to the different precipitation processes H-30 and  H-80 have different grain size distributions and soda contents.
H-80 has an average particle size of 70 - 90 microns and a soda content
of 0,1 - 0,2 %.

H-30 is the finer grade with an average particle size of 45 - 55 microns and a soda content of 0,40 - 0,45 %.

MOTIM recommends these products for producing various aluminium compounds  ( aluminium-sulphate, aluminium-fluoride, artificial cryolite, zeolit, poly-aluminium- chloride, sodium-aluminate, etc.) They are also used in the plastics and rubber industry and in the production of glass.
